Dashfire is a strategic partner whose incentives are aligned with partner companies delivering superior results. Dashfire is an operating company, not a traditional venture capital fund that makes equity investments, in exchange for business development, strategic financial consulting and software developed by FarShore Partners. Dashfire is owned by investors, who contribute cash to fund operations, and FarShore Partners, who contributes IT efforts. Dashfire makes no cash investments in partner companies. Dashfire generates income from referral payments and cash generated by equity dividend or exit activity.
Dashfire investors receive first money out at a preference, and participate pro rata. Investors earn a return by participating in equity exits similar to a traditional Seed or VC Investment Fund.
Services by FarShore to partner companies are provided at attractive low rates reflective of this partnership. As an equity holder at Dashfire, FarShore recoups discounted revenue through cash generated by downstream Dashfire equity exits.
